Founded in 2015, DIE Deutsche Immobilien Entwicklungs AG, DIEAG for short, stands for holistically designed and implemented real estate projects. We realize ESG-compliant large-scale office and residential quarters for institutional investors as well as offer asset management for institutional portfolio holders. With a project volume of around EUR 2.3 billion (as of March 2023), we are one of the leading real estate project developers and asset managers in German-speaking countries.
We see ourselves as equally committed to economic, ecological and social issues. That is reflected in our sustainability mission statement on responsible and sustainable investment and real estate management in accordance with the three key sustainability criteria of environment, social and governance - "ESG" for short - and culminates in our corporate principle of implementing sensible projects across all asset classes.
More than just a project developer.
Every day, we deal with the question of what makes a city like Berlin attractive for both people and companies, because as real estate developers we create the places where the residents of Berlin live and work. Construction also touches on fundamental social issues: How do we want to live and work in the future, how do we want to move around the city? How do we deal with inner-city open spaces? How can a meaningful, sustainable and thus future-oriented conversion of former industrial areas be achieved? Added to this is the all-pervasive issue of ecological sustainability. Construction is not a short-lived, consumer product. This is where the course for the future is set. This makes it all the more important to plan and implement construction projects with an eye to the future, with a view to making them resource- and climate-friendly while taking social concerns into account.

Since its foundation, DIEAG has relied on the close cooperation with Ed. Züblin AG as a solid partner for the constructional implementation of all projects. Together we have developed an extremely effective system of cooperation over the years, which is essentially based on a joint development of the entire planning and the close integration of architecture and construction throughout all work phases. This enables us to effectively plan major projects from start to finish and to implement them without delay on the agreed completion date, within the estimated budget and with high structural quality.

We are not only actively involved in the environment of our respective project developments, whether in sports or local entrepreneurship and civil society. In order to express the sustainability concept of the group of companies in a demonstrable and consistent manner, DIEAG is also a member of the industry initiative ECORE ("ESG-Circle of Real Estate") and the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB e.V.) and supports the UN Global Compact.
