With almost 1 million m², GSG Berlin is the most important private office and commercial space landlord in Berlin. The portfolio includes areas ranging from 20 to 20,000 m² in size for use as production facilities, offices, workshops or warehouses in architecturally impressive industrial estates and modern business parks. Around 1,500 companies have settled in GSG Berlin’s more than 40 inner-city properties, which are fully connected to the fiber optic network – from innovative start-ups to small manufacturing businesses and global corporations.

To meet the demands of the present and future, GSG Berlin continuously invests in extensive property developments under its own management. In addition to the modernization of the partly historic commercial buildings and redensification projects, a particular focus is on sustainability. While the largest contribution to this lies in the preservation of the existing building stock, photovoltaic modules with a total output of 5.75 MWp were already installed on more than 39,000 m² of roof area in 2014/15.
