WISTA Management GmbH, a state-owned company in Berlin, is an experienced economic developer, location developer and service provider.
As an initiator and catalyst, it strengthens the economic foundation of the capital at the interface of science and business. WISTA not only builds, operates and rents out technology center, but also allocates land by granting heritable building rights. Above all, it supports start-ups, links science with business and promotes national and international cooperation.
WISTA operates the Berlin Adlershof Science and Technology Park. Germany's largest high-tech location and Berlin's largest media location are incorporated in an overall urban development concept. Around 1,330 companies and scientific institutions with approx. 28,000 employees operate in an area of 4.6 km². In addition, there are almost 6,400 students and approx. 900 trainees.
WISTA also operates the Charlottenburger Innovations-Center (CHIC) in Berlin's City West. It is building the technology and start-up center FUBIC in Berlin-Dahlem and has taken over the location marketing of the industrial area Cleantech Business Park Marzahn. On behalf of the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Enterprises, she runs the office for Berlin’s Zukunftsorte. WISTA is also contributing its expertise to the development of a new type of commercial center in Berlin, where skilled trades can be networked with advanced technology.
