Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH
Berlin is the third-largest airport location in Germany.
In 2023, around 23 million passengers used the airport, in 2019 there were 35.6 million passengers. Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) currently operates BER with two terminals (Terminals 1 and 2).
In addition to securing the long-term air traffic infrastructure for the capital region, the company's task is to develop the existing commercial airports as required.
The Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH is owned by the public sector.

Airlines and destinations
In the summer of 2024, the Berlin airport will be served by 68 airlines, offering about 148 destinations in 49 countries on four continents. Jeddah will be added as a new long-haul destination in September 2024.
