Campus Berlin-Buch GmbH

The state-owned Campus Berlin-Buch GmbH has been successfully developing and operating one of the leading science and technology locations in Germany, the Campus Berlin-Buch since 1995. Its unique selling points are its clear focus on biomedicine and the close spatial and content-related interaction of research institutes, clinics and biotechnology companies. Internationally renowned, the campus forms the heart of Berlin-Buch, a place of the future. Around 3,000 employees from 70 nations work on the 32-hectare campus, around 1,200 of whom are scientists.

With 75 companies and around 45,000 square metres of space, the BiotechPark Berlin-Buch is the most important product of Campus Berlin-Buch GmbH. Spin-offs and start-ups in the life sciences sector will find ideal conditions here, from technology transfer to industry-specific laboratory and office space. Locating, accompanying and supporting biotechs - from start-ups to mature companies - are essential tasks of Campus Berlin-Buch GmbH. In 2023, the BerlinBioCube start-up center opened with 8,000 m² of laboratory and office space for start-ups in the life sciences.

Economically independent, non-profit-making and with a public mandate, Campus Berlin-Buch GmbH is a neutral and intermediary partner. It serves the interfaces to basic research, clinical research, companies, administration, politics and the public and is involved in competence, support and service networks at regional and international level.
